These float sets are complete with line, sinker and hook and are suitable for use with all pole fishing rods. The length of the line should not be longer than the pole, otherwise it will be difficult to lift the pole. Adjust the length of the line first, then tie the line into the top loop of the pole. Pencil floats are best suited for flowing water, while tubby floats have better buoyancy, so you can use a larger bait without the float sinking.
